Frequently Asked Questions about SecureAll™

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) about SecureAll™

1. Can SecureAll™ panels be cut and if so, how?

SecureAll™ Bullet Resistant Fiberglass can be cut with a diamond edge saw-blade. When cutting these panels, a fair amount of fiberglass dust is created and we recommend these panels be cut outside. We also recommend that protection be worn to keep from inhaling this dust as well as protecting your skin from the dust.

2. What does it mean that SecureAll™ is UL Listed?

Underwriters Laboratories, Inc. is the world's oldest and largest independent testing company. UL has written the standard for bullet resisting materials. This standard, UL752, has been widely accepted throughout the world as the standard for architectural bullet resistive building materials. SecureAll™ has been tested according to this standard and by the people that wrote the standard.

A ballistic resistive product becomes "UL Listed" after being subjected to a variety of ballistic tests which include shooting the materials while frozen at -25° F and while heated to 120° F. A maintenance testing program is then implemented whereby samples are pulled from production for routine testing. This takes place at least 4 times per year. This rigorous testing schedule ensures that the product is being made without variation and that it has the highest level of ballistic resistive integrity available.
